Meet The Team

Director of Operations
Danny Ahn
Hi there! My name is Danny Ahn, I am the Director of Operations for Chick-Fil-A Whittier and Rosemead Blvd. I started my journey at Chick-Fil-A as a team member late 2016 as a broke college student needing rent money. Graduating UCLA with a Psychology Degree without any debt thanks to Chick-Fil-A, I decided to use my expertise in psychology to further develop my fellow team members to become leaders and coaching them to become the person that they aspired to be. As a Director, I believe it is my mission to have a positive influence on our guests and team members that come into our establishment.

In 2019 the Chick-fil-A in Pico Rivera was opened and I started working in the FOH as a Team Lead and later a Shift Lead. In 2021 I become the Supervisor for the Day Shift. I make sure that operations run smoothly. That can be by being on the floor or making the schedule weekly. I also own another part of the store which is training. I am responsible for making sure that new team members gets trained the CFA way. Next year I’ll be finishing up my 2nd year of college and transferring to a UC to get a Bachelor’s in Animal Biology. Being a part of Chick-fil-A has been very rewarding and is a company I see myself continuing to work for in the future.

Front of House Supervisor
Samantha Pettite
Hi y’all my name is Samantha but I go by Sam. I started at Chick-fil-A Pico Rivera about 3 years ago as a Team Member. After a couple months I moved up to Team Lead, then a few months later Shift Lead, and finally a few months after that I became the FOH Night Supervisor. My experience at Chick-fil-A will be one that I will always keep with me and remember, from moving up to leadership then management within a 2 year span while finishing my Bachelor’s degree at Cal State Northridge. Working at Chick-fil-A has not only encouraged me to work harder but to learn about my passions and be able to continue my education. I am currently enrolled in my masters and credentials program at Alliant International University. I am using all that I have learned and continue to learn to help those around me. Chick-fil-A has helped me become a better leader with my own team and give the best customer service I can. The challenges I have faced at work have only encouraged me to work harder and create a greater passion to help those around me. All I have learned and continue to learn will be my greatest support in future, wether that be with Chick-fil-A or becoming a Principal.

Kitchen Supervisor
Esdras Saenz
Hey there! My name is Esdras Saenz and I’m the BOH morning kitchen supervisor. My Chick-fil-A journey began in 2016 when I was a senior in high school. I started as a team member and moved my way up to upper management. Every job has its ups and downs but the people that I work with make it fun and that’s why I can say that I love doing what I do! Having this position has helped me out a lot; personally and professionally, it has been a huge help since ultimately I want to open up my own cafe. I’m currently attending college for criminal justice and business. Being a full time student and having a full time job is not easy but at the end it will be worth it. So if you want to do something in life don’t give up and keep moving forward!

Kitchen Supervisor
Demir Dokovic
Hi, my name is Demir Dokovic. I was welcomed into the Chick-Fil-A Pico Rivera family in 2021 as a manager at Chick-fil-A. After more then a decade in the restaurant industry I can honestly say that working here has been one of the most friendly and productive environments. This is going to help me to become more equipped to be a operator in Chick-Fil-A or to open my own restaurant. The culture and mentoring at this store has gone above and beyond anywhere else I’ve worked before. I am proud to be serving our Chick-fil-A customers with the help of my outstanding team members while upholding the high standards the distinguishes this restaurant from all the others. Make sure to ask for me when you come in and I will be more than happy to help you out with anything you need.

HR Director
Veronica Hanson
Hello my name is Veronica Hanson. I started with Chick-fil-A when I was 16 years old and have worked on and off with the Company over the past 14 years. I have worked for four different stores and Operators. I have done quite a few different things within the different stores. I started at Chick-fil-A Pico Rivera in May 2019 as our BOH Supervisor. I stayed at that position only for a short while do to another position opening that Management thought I would be a good fit for. So I switched over to being our Administrator and HR Director within just a few months of us Opening this new location. I have been in this Position ever since. I love Chick-fil-A as a Company and being able to help the goals of the Operators that I work for. Our Mission statement at Pico Rivera is ‘Enriching Lives of Everyone in Pico Rivera’ , I love this and I try my best from my position to make sure that our whole team is able to accomplish this on a daily basis.

Talent & Culture Director
Nelson Luna
Hello! I’m Nelson and as the Talent & Culture Director, I oversee the growth and development of our leaders at Chick-Fil-A Whittier Blvd. & Rosemead. I also help source and hire incoming talent for the restaurant. My love for Chick-Fil-A started in high school when we would leave campus every Friday to get food for our second period jazz band class (back then you could still order biscuits and gravy!). Since then, I was part of multiple “First 100” grand openings and even competed in a nugget eating contest. To say that I am a huge fan of Chick-Fil-A would be an understatement! My personal mission in life is to “empower and enable people to realize their full potential” and I get to do that everyday at Chick-Fil-A! I graduated with a degree in Finance from the University of North Florida and have diverse experience that includes working at Apple and as an Executive Pastor (and a few things in-between), but nothing compares to life and work at Chick-Fil-A! When I’m not at the restaurant, you can find me enjoying family time with my wife and our two kids or at LA AX, where I throw in a competitive axe throwing league. One day I hope to become an Operator and use my passion and experience to make a difference in the lives of my team and community.

Brand and Sales Director
Isabella Lujano
Hey hey! My name is Bella and I oversee Brand and Sales development at our Chick-fil-A Whittier Blvd & Rosemead location. My journey started with Chick-fil-A this past February 2022- being the second newest on the leadership team comes with big shoes to fill, but with the support of this amazing team, the role has been nothing short of phenomenal! Recently fresh to the marketing world after university studies, I sought after an industry that had a mission that aligned with what I felt was important. Good to say, I found that Chick-fil-A Pico Rivera did exactly that for me and more. Being surrounded by a hardworking and loving team makes an awesome environment to market- aka: makes my job easier! So, anytime you step foot into our store and see someone taking a picture of one of our yummy entrees/sides, tap them on the shoulder and say hi, because that's probably me!

Maintenance Director
Santino Turrietta
Hi, how's it going? My name is Santino Turrietta. I currently work as the maintenance and repair director for Chick-fil-a in Pico Rivera,CA. My voyage with chick-fil-a started about three years ago during Covid, while I attended East Los Angeles College to major in respiratory therapy. One of the best decisions I made was applying for chick-fil-a because it helped me grow as a person as well as develop leadership skills to supervise a whole team if needed. The path I'm setting myself up for with the help of Chick-fil-a is working toward my own store to help showcase the greatness of Chick-fil-a and what it truly stands for. Which I believe is delivering great service, quality food, and showcasing teamwork to keep the store flowing as a whole.
